Christopher Adeney, a well known Toronto-based artist, is in the process of donating a set of 14 watercolours of the Arctic to CARC. A long-time member of CARC, Christopher visited the Arctic in 1986 with the Polar Continental Shelf Project to study and paint. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in both Ontario and Quebec, and his paintings hang in corporate and institutional collections in Canada, United States, and France. He has received many awards, including the Governor-General's Canadian Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers award. We thank Christopher for his generous donation and Christopher Cutts of Christopher Cutts Gallery for appraising the paintings for us.
